LC Library Events for November 2017

Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Library will be holding two Used Book Fairs this fall at Library Headquarters. On Saturday, November 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Library will hold its regular bi-annual event with recent discards from the Library's collections. The book fair offers a variety of genres for all ages including fiction, non-fiction, and Christmas materials. Materials at this event are available through a donation to the Library. A special collection of military books will be available on Thursday, November 2, from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. The materials are recent donations from a local collector and include print and video resources for military, army and navy. These items will be available at a set price only.

International Games Week is October 29 - November 4. Come into any branch library, during its open hours, and play games as well as enter your name in a draw for a chance to win a prize basket provided by Future Pastimes. The prize basket contains a board game, a card game, and a $50 gift card, for a total value of $150. Patrons are also welcome to bring their own games into the library.

Lambton County Library branches will be closed on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in an effort to allow all library staff the opportunity to attend the Department's Professional Development Day, essential for maintaining required training. The library apologizes for any inconvenience.

Please pre-register for all programs except those specified as a drop-in by contacting the individual library. Preschool programs requiring registration are currently underway; however, some branches offer the programs asdrop-ins and welcome all new participants.

Programs are free unless otherwise noted. Visit www.lclibrary.ca for further details. If living outside of Wyoming’s local calling area, call the toll-free number 1-866-324-6912 with any questions or concerns.

All branches are closed Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12 and Tuesday, November 14. Library Headquarters will also be closed Monday, November 13.
