Spring 2018 Used Book Fair
Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Library will be holding its spring Used Book Fair at Library Headquarters on Saturday, April 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A wide selection of genres is available to choose from including picture books, gardening, interior design, cooking, travel, health, autobiographies as well as fiction and non-fiction for all ages. A donation of 50 cents per children's book and $1.00 per adult book is suggested. Or bring a bag and fill it up for a suggested price of $5.00.
Books at the fair are recent discards from the collections of Lambton County Library's 26 branches. In order to keep the library's collection current with relevant materials, discarding takes place to remove duplicate, outdated and non-circulating materials. The fair also includes donated books which don't meet the needs of the collection, but are often in excellent and new condition.
Proceeds from the book fair are used to off-set the costs of the library's operations. For more information, please call 519-845-3324. Library Headquarters is located on 787 Broadway St., Wyoming, behind the County of Lambton Administration Building.
Library Headquarters provides the behind-the scenes services to Lambton County's 26 branch libraries. This includes book selection and ordering, cataloguing, inter-library loans, interbranch requests, exchanges of materials from one branch to another, courier services, service to long-term care homes as well as automated systems maintenance.
