"Going green" has just gotten a little easier at Lambton County Library branches. A foldable zipper bag is available for $2.50 from your local library. It zippers up to wallet sized when not in use and easily becomes a full-sized bag when opened. A full-size deluxe bag is also available for $15.00.

The books in any one branch are only a small part of the Lambton County Library collection. The request service provides access to all books in the system. If we don't have it, we'll consider it for purchase. Submit a Request for Purchase.
Lambton County Archives (formerly known as The Lambton Room) is your one-stop spot for family and local history research in Lambton County.

Online Genealogy Subscriptions
This program is only accessible through public computers in any Lambton County library or at Lambton County Archives.
Ancestry library edition is an online searching program with approximately 4,000 databases and billions of names. Covering the United States and the United Kingdom, it includes census, vital, church, court, and immigration records, as well as record collections from Canada and other areas.
Wireless Internet is now available at all Lambton County libraries from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Bring your laptop or PDA (hand-held device) into wireless accessible libraries and connect to the Internet for FREE!
To connect, users will need an 802.11a, b or g compliant wireless device installed or a laptop with built-in wireless capability. Access is not limited to the fixed desktop computer areas of the library but can be used at almost every spot in the library. No special user names or passwords are required.
Although the wireless network is available to all, users must abide by the Library's Internet Access Policy prohibiting abuse and illegal activity while using the Internet within the library.
