Lambton County Library offers free online coding resource

Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Library now offers Fiero Code, an online coding platform that helps users learn to build websites, video games, phone apps, animations, and more.
Electronic devices require code to work properly, and coding allows humans to communicate with electronic devices by telling a machine which actions to perform and how to complete a task.
Projects and tutorials in the Fiero Code platform are suitable for kids (beginning at age 8), teens and adults. The platform is free for library cardholders and accessible on any device, at home or in the library.
“Adding Fiero Code to our digital resources allows patrons of all ages to develop valuable coding skills in a fun and engaging way,” said Vanitia Campbell, Public Services Coordinator: Youth Programs & Outreach, Lambton County Library. “As technology continues to shape the workforce, coding skills are becoming increasingly valuable in many career fields, including business, healthcare, engineering, and design.”
How to Access Fiero Code
