Class Visits
We welcome class visits to any of our locations, or our library staff would love to come to your school to tell you about all of the free resources we offer.

Preschool / Daycare Groups
Visits from preschools / daycare groups include an age appropriate story time, an introduction to library cards a short tour and an opportunity for the group to browse the kids' section and borrow material with their library card.
Kindergarten to Grade 6
Visits from Kindergarten to Grade 6 classrooms include an introduction to resources available for academic help and for leisure, an age appropriate introduction to online resources for kids, such as TumblebookLibrary and Hoopla, a tour of the library, and an age appropriate story hour or book discussion. There will be opportunity for the group to browse the kids' section and borrow material with their library card.
Grade 7 to Grade 12
Visits from Grade 7 to Grade 12 classrooms include direction on how to research both online and in the library, how to connect tweens and teens to resources, volunteering at the library, and how to find materials for leisure reading. There will be opportunity for the group to browse the kids' or teen section and borrow material with their library card.
Sarnia Makerspace Visit
A visit to the Makerspace at the Sarnia Library includes a tour and an opportunity to organize a making session in the space. The Makerspace equipment at the Sarnia Library includes:
Sarnia Makerspace welcomes classes from local schools and community groups. Visits can include a brief tour of the space or a making session with one class or 30 students at a time.
