Online Courses
With your library card you have access to two free online learning programs, Gale Courses and LinkedIn Learning. Both of these programs offer a wide range of courses ranging from topics like personal finance, business, to interior design, to using software applications like Microsoft Office. To register for a Gale or LinkedIn Learning course, you will need a valid Lambton County Library card and a PIN number. Contact your local library to register or renew your library card.
Gale Courses are free, web-based, instructor-led courses that can be accessed through the library. Topics range from health and wellness, to creative writing, to computer software and much more. Courses are made up of 12 lessons over a six week period. Gale Courses are not credit courses, however, participants who achieve a passing grade will receive an award of completion.
LinkedIn Learning provides free, online instruction on a wide variety of topics through video tutorials from subject experts. Course subjects include business, creative, and technology skills to achieve your personal and professional goals. Certificates are awarded upon course completion.
