Teen Summer Reading Challenge
July 2 - August 11, 2024
Teens across Lambton County are encouraged to set reading goals and to participate in fun activities this summer by taking part in the Teen Summer Reading Challenge! This year's theme is 'Tales Through Time.' Teens can register on Beanstack or at any Lambton County Library location to track the number of minutes they read each day. Book prizes are awarded at 200 minutes of reading, 400 minutes of reading, and 600 minutes of reading, with a maximum of three book prizes. In addition to the reading challenge, teens can participate in activities for the opportunity to earn badges and be entered into prize draws.
Find the Golden Ticket
Hidden in one of the Teen Summer Reading Challenge registration kits is a coveted Golden Ticket! Pick up a kit at any of the Lambton County Library locations to unpack all of the fun to be had this summer and try your luck at finding it. The lucky teen who finds it will win a virtual reality escape room at District Beta for the winner and three of their friends.
Kits are only available while supplies last so don't wait!
