Lambton County Library Provides New Way to Access Magazines Electronically
Wyoming, ON – Users of Lambton County Library’s e-services will now be able to access the digital magazine collection through the Libby app, instead of the RBDigital app.
By transitioning to the Libby app, users will have access to over 3,000 popular magazine titles. Top titles include Canadian Living, The Economist, National Geographic Kids and Hello! Magazine.
Using a Lambton County Library card, magazines can be downloaded for free on any device 24/7. Digital magazines have no wait lists or holds, do not count towards checkout limits and provide readers the option to renew their selections. Lambton County Library cardholders can also download magazines to Libby for offline use. Readers can browse lists of magazines that range in subject matter from entertainment, news, politics, health, finance to many more.
This service is compatible with all major computers and devices, including iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, and Chromebooks. All titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period and there are no late fees.
In addition to magazines, the Libby app also offers eBooks and eAudiobooks. To access these digital resources, download Libby from your app store or visit https://edownload.overdrive.com/.
