Sarnia Library presents Blind Date with a Book
Sarnia, ON – Sarnia Library invites residents to go on a blind date with a hand-wrapped mystery book and get acquainted with some new genres and authors. The 'Blind Date with a Book' program will take place Thursday, February 8 until Thursday, February 15, 2018.
"Participants are invited to check out their 'date' from a library display," says Adrianne Lebert, Reference Librarian at Sarnia Library. "Each book will be wrapped so you won't know the title or the author of the book. The only hint will be a brief description."
A variety of different genres and formats will be concealed including mystery, romance, classics, horror, science fiction, non-fiction, audiobooks and large print books.
"Take it home, unwrap it, read it and enjoy," adds Lebert. "Hopefully, it's love at first sight!"
Lambton County Library offers a variety of free materials and services to meet the leisure and informational needs of the community through its 26 branches, bookmobile and website. eReader lending, multi-media resources, online services, programs and Internet access are all available.
